Rehabilitation, Case Management & Trusted Partners

Rehabilitation and Case Management

Through my many operations, in the private sector and the NHS, there is one factor which is critical to a great rehabilitation and thus great surgical outcome, and that is communication. There must be clear channels of communication between surgeons and rehabilitators. I am strongly passionate about this.

I have witnessed miscommunication or no communication meaning patients have not had the rehab, the follow up appointments and so on that they need and should have. I strive to forge communication pathways between all, so that everyone is singing from the same proverbial hymn sheet. Aligning expectation for all is key. I have trusted partners as indicated below, however if you have your own then great, but I believe in all sharing knowledge and communication. Depending on hospitals and surgeons, I also have good communication with a number of surgeons.

If you are planning surgery, or have had surgery and have questions about what you should be doing before, during or after, or how best to prepare. Then contact Balance Pro.

Why trusted partners and honesty are important.

Whilst I am teaching obviously as a business, my fundamental drive is to help people achieve what they want to and need to. I feel the only authentic approach to enable a client to achieve what they wish is being totally honest with myself and the client. I will recommend the most efficient and practical way forward considering all factors….time/cost/skill set/ location etc. etc Whilst I hope to be able to assist in most cases, if there is an issue I am not comfortable treating, or I feel there are better resources elsewhere I will ensure I refer to the most appropriate person for the job. For me the desired outcome is the most important thing. With that in mind I have a very trusted set of clients and partners that know they can ask me anything and I will help in the best way I can. Likewise, relationships with trainers, rehabilitators can grow stale, not through anyone’s fault, but a change in perspective is required, a fresh set of eyes, and again, I will support these decisions if and when they arise.
